New album info and more
Hello everyone,
There are many happenings beginning to take place that we are very excited to start sharing with you. The bulk of these happenings surround our upcoming full-length release, Lore, which we can't wait to show you all.
It's for this reason that we're happy to introduce you to the new Today I Caught the Plague Lore Blog (http://lore.todayicaughttheplague.com); one central site where over time you will find all sorts of information regarding the release, as well as photos and videos of us doing what we do, in studio. If you want to be first to know what's happening with Lore this is where you want to be.
Also, and in conjunction with the release of Lore, we have decided to throw our hats in to the ring for this year's Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands to play Warped Tour. You can help Today I Caught the Plague play Lore at this summer's festival by voting at this link: http://www.battleofthebands.com/u/todayicaughttheplague (one vote per 24hrs)
Much, much more to come!

Acoustic God City Gun Fight, pre production, album concept and more!
Current mood:
Hey friends,
excitedGuess its been a while since we've been in touch. So, how about we fill you in a bit about what we've been up to.Since getting back from our last tour in October, we've been hard at work finishing the writing for our new album which were so excited for you all to hear! The album is a concept album of sorts. Every track has been lyrically inspired by ancient myths, legends and fables from all across the world. Were currently preparing these songs for the studio, which we will be hitting up very soon! Also, in the midst of our busy writing schedule, some of us had the opportunity to explore different musical endeavours. Drummer Mike Ieradi spent some time in Europe touring as a fill in drummer for our punk rock friends This Is a Standoff (www.myspace.com/thisisastandoff). If you haven't checked them out yet you should probably get on that! They're a fantastic bunch of musicians and stand up dudes! Guitarist Ben Davis spent some time in the studio with Ottawa musician and longtime friend Keek (www.myspace.com/keekmusic). Lastly, vocalist Dave Journeaux collaborated with Ottawa based southern rock quintet Hunter City Madness for a guest appearance on the track "Old Habits of Young Lovers" which you can check out on there myspace: www.myspace.com/huntercitymadness. Give this all a listen, and show some love and support for our friends! While you're at your computer checking out these sweet jams don't forget to take a listen to our live off the floor, acoustic God City Gunfight video on our myspace, facebook or youtube page!Peace and love until next time,TICTP
