    ..Pagina Facebook di Xelius Project................ .... Italia:.. XELIUS PROJECT è un progetto nato nel 2005, che si snoda su percorsi elettronici tracciati in altre epoche. Uno stage di infinite manopole, tasti e hardware antico, servono le performance dei 2 musicisti Xelius e Albion, collegati in un viaggio che si sviluppa nel primo elettro pop anni 70'/80'. Peculiarità del gruppo è l'uso di sintetizzatori e macchine analogiche "vintage", che imprimono il loro inconfondibile carattere stendendosi su una lucida superficie ritmica, programmata e sviluppata al computer. La loro musica è un'accattivante onda elettronica che comprende e valica i confini del Techno-pop, passando attraverso la forza e l'oscurità dell' Industrial, raggiungendo talvolta atmosfere e sensazioni dalle più disparate sfumature sonore. L'ascoltatore viene introdotto in un mondo di suoni e texture travolgenti che lo accompagnano, inevitabilmente, sia alla danza ed al movimento, sia alla profonda meditazione. Pur essendo un progetto di recente sviluppo, conta già molteplici collaborazioni. Nel 2006 partecipano alla compilation "Congarbo" (Photographic/Venus),tributo al cantautore new waver Garbo, con il brano "Vorrei regnare", insieme ad artisti come Davide Boosta (Subsonica), Madaski (Africa Unite), Mauro Giovanardi (La Crus),Zu e Meg (99 Posse), Delta V, Soerba, Baustelle, ecc... . Nel 2007 Andy (Bluvertigo) li ingaggia per l'arrangiamento elettronico del suo nuovo album solista di prossima uscita. Volano nel dicembre dello stesso anno in Germania per masterizzare il loro primo album nello studio X.1 di Colonia; l'album, dal titolo "AtomAge", vanta la firma "sonica" d'eccezione di ..Henning Schmitz.. . Nel corso del 2009 il duo parteciperà alla compilation "CHyberNation", CD tributo dedicato ai Krisma. .... World: .. XELIUS PROJECT originates from the passion for electronic-analogue music typical of the late 70s and early 80s electro-pop. It draws its inspiration and energy from internationally known wave and cold wave bands of the same epoch, such as Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Chrisma, YellowMagicOrchestra, Gary Numan, New Order. Xelius Project re-elaborates this outstanding musical moment by revisiting sound, frame and overall aesthetic of covers in a thoroughly personal way. The origins of this fairly recent project feature a repertoire based on pieces selected not so much for their popularity as for the trait dunion that takes the listener on a trip through either high-ranking electronic music and the emotions of its envisaged future. Even thirty years later this music still depicts a time that has never come true as it had been dreamt, projected and predicted. A technocratic, positivistic image of a fantastic future that now looks almost nostalgic with regards to its original representations. Nostalgia for the future is the main concept of Retrò electronique. Retrò Electronique stages a sound space filled with mostly live-performed electronic music, neon lights, control surfaces, keyboards, knobs and voices suspended among primeval effects of vintage synthesizers. The band widely exploits analogue machines that impress their unique character on a computer programmed, glossy rhythmic surface. The project is now expanding towards imminent featuring and collaborations with like-minded artists. Video-art will soon be definitively integrated on main events as well. .... ..
